Argentina's State Asset Administration Agency has authorized a public auction for a state-owned property in La Plata. The base value exceeds $1.4 million. The National Commission of Monuments has confirmed the property has no historical value.


Argentina to Auction Off State Property in La Plata

The State Asset Administration Agency has authorized the call for a public auction for the sale of a sector of a state-owned property located at the intersection of Calle 116 and Calle 41 in the city of La Plata, with a base value of one million, four hundred sixty-three thousand, five hundred thirteen US dollars. Resolution 31 of 2026, published today in the Official Bulletin and accessed by Noticias Argentinas, approves the Special Terms and Conditions that will govern Public Auction 392-0014-SPU26 for the disposal of a sector to be delimited from the property identified as Party 55, Circumscription I, Section A, Block 43, Parcel 7B (part), corresponding to CIE 0600004530 bar 6. The property has an approximate land area subject to survey of two thousand, two hundred twenty-one square meters and fourteen square decimeters, an approximate covered area of ninety-six square meters and twenty-two square decimeters, and an approximate semi-covered area of four hundred fifty-eight square meters and ninety-five square decimeters. According to the considerations of the norm, the request for the sale of the property was made by the Directorate of Community Affairs, at the behest of the attention and signature of the dispatch of the National Directorate of Real Estate Services and Community Affairs. The property had been removed from the jurisdiction of the General Staff of the Army by Resolution 8 dated January 8, 2026. The National Appraisal Court determined the market value of the property, in cash and vacant, at two thousand, one hundred sixty-six million pesos or its equivalent of one million, four hundred sixty-three thousand, five hundred thirteen US dollars, according to a valuation report dated December 23, 2025. The base sale price was set at one million, three hundred seventeen thousand, five hundred sixty-seven US dollars, in accordance with Internal Procedure 19.1, all values calculated at an Argentine National Bank exchange rate of one thousand, four hundred eighty pesos per dollar, effective as of December 17, 2025. The selection procedure falls within the framework of the Public Auction regime contemplated in the National Administration Procurement Regime approved by Decree 1,023 of 2001 and in the Regulation of Management of State Immovable Property approved by Resolution 177 of 2022 and its amending Resolution 60 of 2024. The National Commission of Monuments, Places and Historic Assets reported by note of December 2, 2025, that the property has no patrimonial value. The General Notaryship of the Nation intervened in the procedure by note of October 10, 2024. The resources that enter as a result of the fulfillment of the resolution, after deducting expenses, will be allocated in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of Decree 1,382 of 2012, which created the State Asset Administration Agency.
